ASAP!! Why can a subtraction problem be rewritten as an addition problem without changing the outcome? Give a real-world scenario where this might be modeled.

Because the way subtraction and addition work are as sums. You are simply gathering together different variables. If we put together +5 and negative 2, we get +3. However, it is much simpler to say 5-2=3. Hope that helps!
