Answer: I think if this is the topic I am thinking of, you are referring to the Aztec Gods in the 'Aztec Creation Story'. So, this being said, I believe that it would be A) they were tired of living in darkness, but I am not certain. It has been a while since I have read this, so I would recommend reading this over to make sure this is correct.

Perhaps, students here won't know what story u are refering to. Assuming you are talking about the Aztec Creation Story, then the answer is C- they saw the monster moving in the water. They made water, and different divine beings, and the ocean creature Cipactli. Cipactli was part fish and part crocodile, a gigantic animal as large as all things that now seem to be. This was an expending creature, a jaw at each joint. Cipactli was to turn into the universe's wellspring in an odd manner. As the divine beings kept on making, they had an issue - their manifestations would fall into the water and be eaten by the awful Cipactli. So it was the ideal opportunity for battle - the four divine beings assaulted the ocean beast, pulling her in four headings. She battled back, gnawing Tezcatlipoca and detaching his foot. Be that as it may, finally Cipactli was devastated. Yay!! VICTORY, VICTORY!! -_- tbh, I don't so much like these big myths.
