Under Joseph Stalin, schools were reformed primarily to emphasize the Soviet ideology. People in Russia lost their freedom as soon as Joseph Stalin took control over them. People there had to listen, see and read only what the state allowed and ordered. And education was not an exception of this control. Education was particularly and strictly controlled by the state. In 1932, a rigid program of discipline and education was introduced.
