Total cost of items = 12.35,

`\text{So, the average cost}=\frac{\text{Total cost}}{\text{Number of items}}`

`=(12.35)/(6)`

`\approx 2.0583`

Since, average of some observations is always equal or less than at least one observation,

Here, the average is greater than 2,

So, it is obvious that at least one of the cost of item must be greater than 2.
