two sets of (2+3) because that is 5 times 2 which is ten. The other is 3 times three which is 9

Answer: Two sets of (2+3) is greater than three sets of (5-2).

Step-by-step explanation: We are given to select the greater number number out of the following two numbers :

" three sets of (5-2) or two sets of (2+3)".

To find the greater number, first we need to simplify both the numbers.

We have

\textup{three sets of }(5-2)\\\\=3*(5-2)\\\\=3*3\\\\=9

and

\textup{two sets of }(2+3)\\\\=2*(2+3)\\\\=2*5\\\\=10.

We know that

10 > 9, so we get

Two sets of (2+3) is greater than three sets of (5-2).
