Deserts are dry and infertile, so not my plants and living things are able to live and grow there.

Answer:

Lack of water and unstable weather make life in these places complicated

Step-by-step explanation:

Deserts are regions that present few conditions for the maintenance of life, especially to prevent or hinder human habitation. These are arid (but not necessarily hot) regions with low rainfall and few food resources readily available. But that does not mean that these locations do not have fauna, flora and even cities in their landscapes.

The word comes from the Latin “desertu”, which means uninhabited, lonely, emptied.
