Find a number you can multiply by the bottom of the fraction to make it 10, 100, or 1,000 or any 1 followed by zeros.
Then, Multiply both top and bottom by that number.

Every fraction is a short way to write a division problem.
A fraction means

(the top number) divided by (the bottom number).

When you go ahead and actually do the division, the quotient you get
is the decimal form of the fraction.

Example:

Let's say you have the fraction 792 / 3168 .

Just pull out your pencil or your calculator, and divide 792 by 3168.

You'll get 0.25 . That's the decimal form of that whole ugly fraction !
