Hello!

(9-p)3 is the same as 3(9-p) because we multiply 3 times the difference of 9 and p or the difference of 9 and p times 3.

Rewrite the expression:

3(9-p)

simplify:

27-3p

27 and -3p are not like terms, so we cannot simplify any further.
