We already know that BEA and EBD have a congruent side, we need to find another one and a corresponding congruent angle.

Notice that both triangles share the side BE. So, we already have two pairs of angles that are congruent.

To prove congruence of the triangles by SAS, we need that the angle formed by the two congruent sides is also congruent between the two, triangles, so


\angle BAE\cong\angle EDB
