Which equation could be used to solve the problem? The Jensens drove 400 miles in 8 hours. How many miles per hour did they drive (m)?

a. m = 400 miles • 8 hours
b. m = 400 miles ÷ 8 hours
c. m = 400 miles + 8 hours
d. m = 8 hours ÷ 400 miles

Let's see what you would get if you actually do the math: 400 * 8 = 3,200 no car can physically go THAT fast, and even if they did, they would be so much farther then this, so A is out, 400 divided by 8 = 50 if they kept a steady rate of 50 could be the right answer 400 + 8 is just 408 so, yeah, and 8 divided by 400 = 0.02 yeah I think B is the right way to go
