What are two examples of the impact the Americas had on Europe during the Columbian Exchange

The potatoes and syphillis both came from the Americas to Europe and had a great influence there. Potatoes had a great role in combating hunger (shown by the fact that as when they were not longer there, Ireland had a famine) and syphilis has taken many people in Europe after the Columbian Exchange.
