Final answer:

The incorrect statement about making writing enjoyable is 'direct quotations should be reserved.' Effective writing uses direct quotations appropriately to emphasize points and intersperse writer's own arguments, especially at the beginning to attract reader's attention.

Step-by-step explanation:

The statement about making your writing fun to read that is not correct is 'direct quotations should be reserved.' Effective writing often leverages direct quotations to provide specific evidence and to show rather than tell. According to best practices in writing, quotations should be integrated smoothly, and when used appropriately and correctly, they emphasize the writer's points without substituting for the writer's own argument.

Writers are encouraged to open with a quotation or anecdote to attract the reader's attention in introductory paragraphs, and quotations need to be relevant and connected to the topic to ensure they enhance the introduction of an essay. Natural conversation for characters, anecdotes, and humorous quotes are techniques often recommended to make writing more engaging and entertaining.

I think it would be b. because direct quotations aren't bad and are sometimes needed. Also, the other answers are needed. If you don't make the conversation natural for the character then the story won't make sense and humorous quotations are needed.
