5/7 × 1/7 = 3 = x = 147/5 or 29.4

First,
use the Rule of One:
x^1 = x. Your problem should look like 5/7 × x/7 = 3.
Second, simplify 5/7 × x/7 to 5x/49. ( 5 × x = 5x)( 7 × 7 = 49)
Third, multiply both sides by 49. Your problem should look like 5x = 147.
Fourth, divide both sides by five. Your problem should look like x = 147/5 which is the answer.

If you want the full simplified answer, just simplify 147/49 to 3 which equals 3. So, 3 = 3.
