= 13.000 + 0.400 + 0.080 - 8.000 - 0.200 - 0.060 - 0.003
= (13.000 - 8.000) + (0.400 - 0.200) + (0.080 - 0.060) - 0.003
= 5.000 + 0.200 + 0.020 - 0.003
= 5.220 - 0.003
= 5.217
