The scale factor from the model of a human inner ear to the actual ear is 55:2. If one of the bones of the model is 8.25 centimeters long, how long is the actual bone in human ear?

Please help me answer with q solution thanks God Bless!

(55)/(2) = (8.25)/(n)

55n = 16.5 (use cross multiplication across the = sign)

Divide both sides of the equation by 55
[tex] \frac{55n}{55} = \frac{16.2}{55} = .3 So .3cm would be the size of the actual bone.
