In such equations, you always begin in what's inside the Parenthesis.
So first we need to calculate 143(5) + 67.

143(5) means 143 times 5. And Based on Calculation priorities, you always begin by the multiplication and division, and then addition and subtraction.
So you get:

143(5) + 67

715 + 67

then you add and you get

715 + 67 = 782

So, now we get (782)5
As I mentioned before, this form is like a multiplication, so (782)5 is 782 times 5.
You calculate and get 3910

Hope this Helps :)
