I need to "locate a set of quantitative data (st least 25 data values) in a newspaper, magezine, periodical, recent book, or on the internet" ans I don't know what this actually means so I don't know what to look up! I need help pleaseee!!

If this is about statistics then you were asked for a set of parameters/statistic. You could collect data values from the newspapers, magazines, periodicals, recent or on the internet in various ways. You could have examples like:
1. 60% of the human body is composed of water
2. The top 5 mental issues in women: depression, phobia and anxiety, PTSD, suicide ideation and eating disorders
3.
There are 3 main parts of the brain. Forebrain, midbrain and hindbrain
