explanation: (1) Inference are defined as the step in reasoning, going from place to logical consequences while the critical thinking is about the analysis of fact to form a shrewdness and judgement. (2) A conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning is inference and the critical thinking is clear, reasonable, cogent, open-minded and informed by proofs or documentation. (3) Inference is theoretically traditionally divided into deduction and induction while the critical thinking is about self-disciplined,self-directed,self-corrective and self- monitored thinking.
