An adjective is a word that modifies or describes something.
For example:
The blue sky is very vast.
The adjectives in the example sentence are BLUE & VAST.

An adjective is: A word or phrase that modifies, describes, or is grammatically related to a noun.
For example: The sentence: "The candy tasted sweet and gingery". The adjectives in the sentence are: Sweet and Gingery.
