4a+2b−(2a−3b)−(a−b)

Distribute the Negative Sign:

=4a+2b−(2a−3b)+−1(a−b)

=4a+2b+−2a+3b+−1a+−1(−b)

=4a+2b+−2a+3b+−a+b

Combine Like Terms:

=4a+2b+−2a+3b+−a+b

=(4a+−2a+−a)+(2b+3b+b)

=a+6b
