1/5(a+10) =-3
Sinplify both sides of the equation
1/5 a +2=-3
Subtract 2 from both sides

1/5(a+10)=−3
Simplify:
15(a+10)=−3
(1/5)(a)+(1/5)(10)=−3(Distribute)
1/5a+2=−3
Subtract 2 from both sides.
1/5a+2−2=−3−2
1/5a=−5
