Do 654 divided by 3 and multiply the answer by 1 and you have your answer or do:
1/3 × 654/1 which is 654/3 and you divide 654 by 3.

Your example can also be written as 654 ÷ 3 since 1/3 of a number is also that number divided by 3

answer is 218.
