1. - yes, this is true, especially in the Eurozone (but not completely, as the countries also keep some sovereignty
2- no, absolutely no. Most European countries are secular ( only few, such as Malta have official religion) and while all the Eu countries now are Christian, there are many denominations, and one candidate, Bosnia is a Muslim country

3- not true, all the languages of member states are official
