Model A is 7.125 ft wide. Model B is 93/12 = 7
(9)/(12) or 7
(3)/(4) which can be written as the decimal 7.75

To compare we add a zero to make them the same length

7.125 < 7.750 so Model B is wider by .625ft (or 5/8 of a foot)

Answer:

a). Model A = 7.125 ft

Model B = 7.75 ft

b). Car B is wider than Car A.

Explanation:

a). Model A of the car is
7(1)/(8) ft wide.

Model B is 93 inches wide.

Since 12 inches = 1 foot

So, 1 inch =
(1)/(12) foot

Therefore, 93 inches =
(93)/(12) feet

=
(31)/(4) feet or
7(3)/(4) feet

Length of the model A =
7(1)/(8) ft = 7.125 ft

Length of the model B =
7(3)/(4) ft = 7.75 ft

b). Now we have to compare both the models having measures
7(1)/(8) ft and
7(3)/(4) feet respectively.

As we ave seen in part (a), model B is more wider than model B.

Therefore, car B will be more wider.
