since 1/6 are lefet and 12 are left
1/6 of total=12
to find how many total you multiply both sides by 6 to destroy fraciton
total=12 times 6=72
you baked 72 cookies

you multiply 6 x a dozen(12) since 12 is 1/6 of the cookies 12x6=72 so 72 cookiesÂ
