remember that
\sqrt[n]{x^m}= x^{ (n)/(m) } so

∛16=16^(1/3)
we know that
16=2^3 so
(2^3)^(1/3)
remember another rule
(x^m)^n=x^(mn) so
(2^3)^(1/3)=2^(3/3)=2^1=2
