Assuming this is the same question that was posted few minutes ago, the answer is 3 because...
solve your equation step-by-step.
2x+7=1
Subtract 7 from both sides.
2x+7−7=1−7
2x=−6
Divide both sides by 2.
2x/2=−6/2
x=−3
