B since when asking for descending order you look at the powers

Answer: Option 'b' is correct.

Explanation:

Decreasing order refers to the order that descends from highest to lowest .

But here we consider the degrees only, not the coefficient

In Option 'b' there is decreasing order of degrees,

The highest degree of that polynomial is 3 and that is written on the left most part and then descend towards the degree 0.

i.e.

x^3-7x^2-14x+9

Hence Option 'b' is correct.
