Is granite rock a compound, element, mixture? Explain

Granite is a type of natural stone. It is igneous rock containing a series of minerals such as quartz (silica), phelps (typically in white color), mica(silver, sometimes black colored), alkali, feldspar, orthoclase, sanidine, and microcline. Therefore, it is more reasonable to say that the granite is a mixture of heat resistant minerals.
