What is the best way to define the word autonomy when it comes to ethical decision making? (Points : 1) Having the freedom to do whatever someone wants to do Having limitations that prevent one from doing what one wants to do Having the freedom to make decisions that align with one s desires, goals, and social context Being determined by fate to act in specific ways None of the above

Well, two answers are very close and in a way both correct:

Having the freedom to do whatever someone wants

Having the freedom to make decisions that align with one s desires, goals, and social context

I would say the second one is better- one is rarely really free to do everything, as one is limited by resources etc, but autonomy would still mean being able to make decisions that align with one s desires, goals, and social context.
