The ski club has 20 members because 50% would be 10 members and 55% is 11 members so since 50% is 10 members, 100% would be 20 members.

11 souls = 55% of the club

' 55% ' means 0.55 .
' of ' means ' times '.

11 souls = 0.55 x Club

Divide each side by 0.55 : Club = 11/0.55 = 20 souls
