Unit form is the other term for unit fraction, in which the number is written as a fraction/ ratio: the top number is referred to as the numerator and the bottom number is referred to as the denominator.
In our case the number is 5 hundreds x 10.
5 hundreds = 500
so, we have 500 x 10.
we have 10 wholes form 500.
10*500=5000
The simplest way to write number as a fraction is to multiply it with 1 but written as 10/10 for example:
5000*10/10=50000/10
