Which of the following is not a principle of Puritanism? People have no control over whether they go to heaven or hell. A person can earn salvation through good deeds and a pious life. Humans are flawed and sinful beings. People should view the Bible as their sole authority

The answer is actually B. The Purtians believed that you could not earn salvation and that it was God's choice alone. No act of kindness, no joining of the church could determine whether you go to Heaven or Hell, only God. So the correct answer is B.

"People have no control over whether they go to heaven or hell" is not a principle of Puritanism since the Puritans believed that if you lived a good life you could get into heaven.
