What type of plot structure allows authors to follow different characters through their own separate narratives, eventually converging, as the story is resolved? Episodic plot structure Parallel plot structure In medias res Flash-forward

It would be a "Parallel plot structure" that allows authors to do this, since the two story lines are running side-by-side. It should be noted that they need not always converge at the end.

The correct answer is parallel plot structure.

When it comes to parallel plot structure, it means that there are several characters whose stories we can see within a particular text. First we see what's going on with one character, then another one, etc. and at one point, they are going to meet, and there will be only one story from that point onward.
