The correct answer is “shift of military power away from European countries”

During this period of time, Europe conquered the new world and dominated it. European powers colonized and explored those regions. The new products that came from these new places made more money and made possible to those European powers to have even stronger military powers. Many wars were fought during this period. It was a strongest period for the European nations.

"Military power shifted away from European nations" is the best option since it was this very military power that allowed the European nations to be so dominating.
