Volume of rectangular prism = Base * Height

SO,
36.8 * 20 * Height = 1472
736 * Height = 1472
Height = 2

The answer is 2 m

Answer:

The water in the pool is 2 m deep.

Explanation:

Given that the pool has the following dimensions:

length: 36.8 m

width: 20 m

deep: ?

and it contains a volume of 1472 m^3 of water.

The volume of a right rectangular prism is computed as follows:

Volume = length*width*deep

Isolating deep and replacing with data (dimensions are omitted):

deep = Volume/(length*width)

deep = 1472/(36.8*20)

deep = 2 m
