Adults . . . . .1 time
Children . . . 3 times
Total . . . . . . 4 times
4 times = 48 total people
Divide each side by 4: 1 time = 12 people
Adults = 1 time = 12 adults
Children = 3 times =
36 children
Total people = 12+36 = 48 people
