The so-called tea riot at the Port of Boston, or what is the same, the Boston Tea Party, occurred when a whole shipment of tea was thrown into the sea.

A group of settlers, disguised as Indians, threw the cargo of tea from three British ships into the sea.

The Boston Tea Party was a political protest in 1773 in Boston, Massachusetts, when the demonstrators, some of them dresses as American Indians threw chests of tea into the water, ruining it, to protest the Tea Act of the same year.
