10*3=30

10-3=7 You just have to think about what 2 numbers multiply to equal 30 then ask will they subtract from each other and equal 7.

The answer is 10 and 3.

Think of factor pairs of 30 until you find some that are 7 apart.
30 = 15 × 2 (difference of 13)
30 = 10 × 3 (difference of 7)
30 = 6 × 5 (difference of 1)
Your two numbers are 10 and 3.
