If x=-2 is a solution of the equation x^2+bx+6=0 what is the value of b

u know x = -2


x²+bx+6=0

(-2)²+b(-2)+6 =0
4 -2b +6 = 0
-2b +6+4 =0

-2 b = -10
b= -10/-2
b= 5
