The formatting of the question is misleading. The first term is 5832, not 5.
This is a geometric sequence with common ratio ⅓.

a₁ = 5832
a₂ = a₁(⅓) = 1944
a₃ = a₂(⅓) = 648
a₄ = a₃(⅓) = 216
a₅ = a₄(⅓) = 72
a₆ = a₅(⅓) = 24
a₇ = a₆(⅓) = 8

The first from right 8*3=24
72*3=216
216*3=648
648*3=1944
1944*3=5832
