( 2x - 9 ) ( x + 6 )

( 2x ) ( x ) + ( 2x ) ( 6 ) + ( - 9 ) ( x ) + ( - 9 ) ( 6 )

2x² + 12x - 9x - 54

2x² + 3x - 54.

Answer:
2x^2+3x-54

Explanation:

The given expression is
(2x-9)(x+6)

Distributive property:

a(b+c)=ab+ac

or
(b+c)a=ba+ca

By distributive property the above expression will be written as :

(2x-9)x+(2x-9)6\\\\(2x)x-9x+(2x)(6)-(9)(6)\\\\2x^2-9x+12x-54\\\\2x^2+(-9+12)x-54\\\\2x^2+3x-54

Hence,
(2x-9)(x+6)=2x^2+3x-54
