The statement which was not an impact of African nationalism was created a native intellectual class more willing to accept Europeanization. Although the African nationalism movement was part of a huge intellectual movement, this did not include the concept of accepting Europeanization. More so, the African nationalism movement was based on unity, the putting together of resources and self-determination.
