C/d+2=f/g solve for c

So if you want to solve for c, the best thing to do is isolate the variable. So I personally don't enjoy dealing with fractions that much until the very end, so I am going to multiple the entire equation by
d*g to eliminate the fraction. So now the equation is
cg+2dg=fd. In order to isolate the c variable, subtract both sides by
2dg, which makes it
cg=fd-2dg. Now divide both sides by g,
c=(fd-2dg)/(g). So that's what c equals in terms of f, d and g.
