just plug in 16 for n
a(16) = 7 - 2(16)
a(16) = 7 - 32
a(16) = -25
so the answer is -25

In the expression that you are given, n is the is number in the sequence. So in this scenario, n=16. So substitute the 16 into the equation.
. So the 16th term in the sequence is -25.
