just plug in 16 for n

a(16) = 7 - 2(16)

a(16) = 7 - 32

a(16) = -25

so the answer is -25

In the expression that you are given, n is the is number in the sequence. So in this scenario, n=16. So substitute the 16 into the equation.
a(n)=7-2(16)=7-32=-25. So the 16th term in the sequence is -25.
