Answer:

5.0 is 10 times greater than 0.5.

Explanation:

Given : compare the numbers 5.0 and 0.5.

To find : how many times greater is 5.0 than 0.5.

Solution : We have given 5.0 and 0.5.

We can see 5 .0 is at the ones place = 5.

In 0 .5

5 is at the tenth place =
(5)/(10).

We can say

5 =
(5)/(10)* 10.

So, 5.0 is 10 times greater than 0.5.

Therefore, 5.0 is 10 times greater than 0.5.
