Answer - D
6 - 3(2x - 4) = 2(1 + x)
6 - 6x + 12 = 2 + 2x
18 - 6x = 2 + 2x
18 = 2 + 8x
16 = 8x
2 = x

6 - 3(2x - 4) = 2(1 + x)
6 - 3(2x) + 3(4) = 2(1) + 2(x)
6 - 6x + 12 = 2 + 2x
6 + 12 - 6x = 2 + 2x
18 - 6x = 2 + 2x
+ 6x + 6x
18 = 2 + 8x
- 2 - 2
