suzanne needs materials for her school project. she buys 2.45 yards of material at $4.84 a yard. what is the total cost of the material? round to the nearest cent

If each yard of material costs $4.84, then you just take this amount and multiply it by 2.45.  Therefore 2.45 x 4.84=11.86.  Your answer is $11.86.
