y=x^2+3x-6

Plug the values (x,y) into the equation and check if they satisfy it.

1. (-6,12) \\ 12=(-6)^2+3 * (-6)-6 \\ 12=36-18-6 \\ 12=12 \\ true \\ \\ 2. (-4,-2) \\ -2=(-4)^2+3 * (-4)-6 \\ -2=16-12-6 \\ -2=-2 \\ true

3. (2,4) \\ 4=2^2+3 * 2-6 \\ 4=4+6-6 \\ 4=4 \\ true \\ \\ 4. (3,-6) \\ -6=3^2+3 * 3-6 \\ -6=9+9-6 \\ -6=12 \\ not \ true

The answer is (4).
