Explanation:

In 2, (2,2) has the same number on both sides, same with (4,4) and (6,6).

Therefore, it is equivalent.

In 4, dividing the first number by the second always results in 4. (4/1=4, 8/2=4, 12/3=4).

Therefore, it works.

The pattern used in 4 is how ratios work. Multiplying/dividing to get one consistent number.
